For our September 2026 issue, we’re thrilled to have jazz mavericks Ezra Collective on the cover for the very first time, in celebration of their highly anticipated fourth studio album ‘Here Because Of Hope’. In the three years since they scooped the prestigious Mercury Prize - becoming the first ever jazz act to do so - the group have continued to challenge preconceptions and push boundaries both within the industry and beyond, all while championing an ethos of collaboration and community. This month, it was a pleasure to sit down with the band to discuss their extraordinary journey so far.

Elsewhere in the September magazine, we’re catching up with indie icons Bloc Party to delve into their love-struck new album ‘Anatomy Of A Brief Romance’, digging into sibling duo Wasia Project’s debut full-length, and getting the lowdown from multiple Grammy-winners Alabama Shakes on their first new record in over a decade. Plus, we’ll also be chatting to , Dublin cult favourites Gilla Band, Main Pop Girl in-waiting flowerovlove, and LA wunderkinds The Linda Lindas, as well as reuniting with certified DIY faves Getdown Services, Antony Szmierek, Keo, and more.

Then, in our September 2026 reviews section, we’ll be delivering the DIY verdict on the latest releases from our featured artists, alongside new albums/EPs from the likes of beabadoobee, Crawlers, Phoebe Bridgers, Blondshell, Weezer, Charli xcx, Matilda Mann, Gurriers, Jorja Smith, Beck, The Strokes, Tommy WÁ, and Kasabian.
